Marine Drive is one of the main roads in South Mumbai which is along the coast of the city. During the day, Marine Drive is jam packed with cars and people. But around midnight, when musicians like myself would be heading back to our homes, it is COMPLETELY silent. Only the sounds of the waves and distant car horns can be heard. It is an extremely romantic time in my mind because while you can still feel the pulse of the city behind you, what is in front of you is the calm Indian ocean.
