~ PIAFFE ~ Half Steps (how to train)

Hello guys :)

I already made a video about training the Piaffe and how to work with it, but nowadays I changed my work quite a bit and we have better video material, so here is an update about my work on the Piaffe/Half steps/School walk.


We show you 5 different horses, with completely different conformation and temperament and different level of training and some ideas on how to work with them towards Piaffe and better collection.


The goal of training the Piaffe is not the exercise itself!
The goal is to teach the horse how to collect, how to carry the forehand with its hindquarter and therefore how to carry me as a rider in a more healthy way.
Never go for the impressive steps on the spot, but really keep in mind:
The way towards the Piaffe and the basics are the most important thing!
Keep your horse quiet, listening and relaxed, try to interfere as less as possible and praise him a lot - and you´re on the best way! :)
