February 10, 1990 - Following in his star teammate's footsteps, Chicago Bulls forward Scottie Pippen tried his hand at the 1990 NBA Slam Dunk Contest. Pippen opened strong with one of the longest dunks in contest history. However, his struggle to finish his second flush left him on the outside looking in, failing to make the 2nd round and ultimately finishing in fifth place.
