Episode 33 505 Upgrades

In this Episode of The Rogue Rigger I take you through the many phases of upgrading our new to us International 505. When we first got our hands on the boat we were chartering it while our other boat was being shipped to and from the 505 World Championships in Ireland. Once we got back from the worlds we purchased the boat as we found that it is a super fast and special boat.
The beginning of the video we started our first phase of upgrades to modernize the rigging systems. The following phases are our refinements of the systems in preparation for the 505 World Championships on our home turf on the San Francisco city front this past fall. It wraps up with a quick tour of the boat just before our first sail of the 2024 season where we were treated to sunny skies and fresh breeze. Good Times!
