Shout-out to my team at the https://www.cozyhomes.my/ for showing me around this interesting property right in front of our office.

This particular property took the industry by storm for several reasons, one would be the innovative design, from facade all the way to the common areas. Then it's located adjacent to KL Metropolis, a 60 acres masterplan connected by the future MRT3.

Basically, if property is a box, this property is a over decorated box. From the entrance, you'll be welcomed with French themed decorations. That created an escapism effect for the visitors, which is similar to hotels and theme parks. In the common areas as well, the objective of design would be to impress the user at first sight. Also to look good in photographs.
However, that creates a problem as maintenance might be challenging. Spare parts would be hard to find. For eg, one of the deco items are damaged. To source for suppliers to fix it is one trouble, to source the replacement and the cost to do would so would be another. As this project is completed right in the midst of the pandemic, this might cause the investor to lose lots of profits due to the restriction of travels. If they miss the first few years, I can only imagine how the property will look 8-10 years later.
