A director or any person who is willing to be appointed as a director must have a valid DIN and DSC.

The process starts with DSC registration.

Once the DSC is downloaded any person who is willing to be appointed as a director in a company can obtain then.

Once the DIN is allotted the person becomes eligible to be appointed as a director.

That individual should then give consent to act as a director in the company along with two other forms that are DIR8 and MBP one.

After getting the documents the board will then propose the appointment of a director and then the director will be appointed in an AGM as decided by the shareholders of the company.

After that form DIR12 needs to be submitted to the ROC. Once the form is uploaded it is an auto approval form and the form gets approved immediately. After that, it will be updated on the master data of the company.

Please be noted that the charter of the company will remain unchanged from the ending of the Director or upon the appointment of the director.
