Check out this CGI Short giving the story of Santa"s sleigh a contemporary twist by the talented Andy Lefton!

Backstory

The idea of “Sleigh Runner” came to me during a restless night of sleep. I currently had an old and much simpler model of the sleigh that I created many years ago and decided to revamp the model by adding stronger detail and enhancing the body style a bit. The entire production of the animation took approximately 4 days to complete.

The production of Sleigh Runner used Cinema 4D, 3DS Max, FumeFX, After Effects and Premiere

Bio -

Andy Lefton is a Minneapolis based award-winning 3D/VFX artist, illustrator, and filmmaker with over 12 years of experience. Always looking to expand his horizons, Andy consistently challenges himself to further pursue his passion in the 3D and VFX realms and looks forward to finding more opportunity to work in the film industry.

On the side, Andy operates a small DIY record label and tours with his band(s) when time permits. His band Tau Cross won 3rd best metal album of 2015 in Rolling Stone.
