With 2016 being the year of Sonic's 25th anniversary, I was determined not to pass up the opportunity of having another Sonic Fan Medley, so I made the announcement on my last live stream that this would be coming before the year was over as the third song for December.

The songs in this medley were chosen by fans by entries made on the Youtube Sonic Fan Medley 2 Entry Video, Twitter via #SonicFanMedley2, and Patreon via an entry post set up there. Hundreds of votes were counted and the top 4 songs from Sonic 1, top 4 from Sonic 2, top 4 from Sonic 3 & Knuckles, and 4 more from other Genesis (and CD) titles made it into the medley.

In case you're wondering why I picked the top 4 from each trilogy title, let's just say if I didn't do it that way, 70% of the songs here would've been Sonic 3 songs and there would be no Sonic 1 songs, haha. So I did it that way to give equal representation for the trilogy games.
