Carnaby's Black-Cockatoo look very similar to Baudin's Black-Cockatoo but the tip of the bill is much shorter. They are usually found in the wheatbelt region of south-west Western Australia, in woodlands, mallee, heath and parklands. They eat the seeds of Banksia, Hakea, Grevillea and pines.
