Jan Theelen from wins 1st International Barcelona race in 1993 with the " Rikky " NL90-1164925 , against 33,196 old birds .

The pigeons from international Barcelona race were liberated on Saturday the 3rd of July at about 09h20 .

Rikky was clocked on Sunday the 4th of July at 09h03 after a race of 1132 km, with a speed of 1090 m/min .

2nd pigeon of Van Haaren & Stiptout from Venray - Holland ( 1162 km ) was clocked at 10h33 with a speed of 1029 m/min.

This beautiful hen " Rikky " NL1164925-90 was a gift from his friend Harrie Bax from Maarheeze and carried some 70% Kuypers blood with Theelen from the line . Her father was the NL-87-2501991an almost pure Kuijpers and the mother NL85-1773643 was a daughter from the basic couple of Wim Bax, Budel. This couple consisted of a cock direct Kuijpers x a hen from the line of Jan Theelen x Aarden.

Rikky moved to the then multi-million dollar combination Luc Sioen - Chuang Deng-Fu in Moorslede.

In 1991 : 🔹614th national st- Vincent 24,279 birds 1006 km

In 1992 : 🔹741st international Barcelona hen 6164 birds 1132 km
🔹1673rd International Perpignan 17,331 birds 979 km

In 1993 : 🔹1st International Barcelona 33,196 birds 1132 km
🔹1st National Barcelona 19,576 birds
