30in30 is Live Arts’ way of connecting the Charlottesville community during a time of physical and social isolation. This free, live-streamed retrospective celebrates our last three decades of “forging theater and community” and prepares us to launch our 30th anniversary season with a renewed perspective. It’s our chance to look back and forge ahead.

It’s also our opportunity to remotely engage community volunteers in a creative, meaningful project at a time when most of us are avoiding social contact. The “30 Plays in 30 Days" festival provides a forum for the community to “gather” and express itself, to reflect on our shared past, and dare to get excited about what the future holds.

Each episode features guest interviews, reflections on past seasons, what was happening in Charlottesville at the time, archival images, and in some cases, performances! The episodes are live-streamed on Facebook every evening in May at 7pm and are free to everyone, even if you don’t have a Facebook account.
