With more than 1,400m² of retail space, the World of Disney at Disneyland Paris is a magical place where Mickey and his friends have gathered together a huge array of merchandise from vast array of categories.

Merchandise offered includes Costumes, Pins and figurines, Disney Ears, Kids apparel and accessories, Art & Collectibles, Food and drinks, Toys & Plush, Gift & Housewares, Disney PhotoPass+, Apparel and Accessories

World of Disney Store opened on July 12, 2012 and is the third store of its kind to open at a Disney park after Florida and California. There is currently four World of Disney stores. The first opened in 1996 in Disney Springs at the Walt Disney Resort, Florida. In January 2001, with the opening of the Downton Disney District of Disneyland Resort in California, a second store opened. This was followed by the Disneyland Paris opening in 2012 and the fourth flagship store opening in the Disney town area of Shanghai Disney Resort in 2016.

Disneyland Paris is an entertainment resort in Chessy, France, 32 km (20 miles) east of Paris. It consists of two theme parks, 6 Disney Resort hotels, Disney Nature Resorts, a shopping, dining and entertainment complex and a golf course.

Disneyland Park was the first park to open on the 12th April 1992 as Euro Disneyland with the resort known as Euro Disney Resort. A second theme park, the Walt Disney Studios Park, opened in 2002.

Disneyland Paris has gone through a number of name changes since opening as Euro Disney Resort. On the 1st June 1994 the name changed to Euro Disneyland Paris before dropping the Euro part a few months later on the 1st October 1994. Between 16th March 2002 and 3rd April 2009 the resort was known as the Disneyland Resort Paris before changing back to just Disneyland Paris again.

Disneyland Paris celebrates its 30th anniversary in 2022, with celebrations starting 6th March. A brand new area is set to open in the summer of 2022 from the Marvel Universe to be called Avengers Campus.
