INT. SOUTH PARK GROCERY STORE - DAY
WIDE SHOT inside the store as tons of townspeople are crammed into the aisles trying to buy everything they can while others rush up and down the aisles. It is complete chaos.
TOWNSPEOPLE
(Canned angry crowd noise)
EXT. SOUTH PARK ELEMENTARY - DAY
Kids of all grades and teachers are running in a panic out of the school, while in the foreground, other townspeople run screaming.
KIDS AND PARENTS
(Screaming)
TOWNSPERSON
WE DIDN'T LISTEN!!!
REVERSE to show several parents with their cars, as other Screaming townspeople run in all directions.
STAN'S DAD
STAN! GET IN THE CAR!!! WE HAVE TO EVACUATE!
Somebody runs through the foreground of the shot.
TOWNSPERSON
WE DIDN'T LISTEN!!!
EXT. ROAD OUTSIDE OF SOUTH PARK - DAY
The road is absolutely jammed with cars, all trying to go the same way, which is out of town. HONKING and YELLING
TOWNSPEOPLE
(canned screaming and yelling)
TOWNSPERSON (O.S.)
WE DIDN'T LISTEN!!!
INT. STAN'S FAMILY'S CAR - STOPPED
Stan's dad is HONKING his horn.
STAN'S DAD
Come on... COME ON!!!
STAN'S MOM
It's useless this traffic isn't moving!
STAN
Dad, isn't it POSSIBLE the flood WASN'T caused by global warming? I mean... The water WAS held back by a GIANT BEAVER DAM after all.
STAN'S DAD
No, Stan, I'm afraid us adults just let you children down. We didn't take care of our Earth and now you've inherited our problems!
VOICE (O.S.)
WE DIDN'T LISTENN!!!!!
Stan's dad rolls down the window and sticks his head out.
STAN'S DAD
WE DIDN'T LISTEN!
Stan's dad rolls the window back up.
STAN'S DAD
Come on... Everyone grab what you can! We have to walk!
EXT. FAMILY CAR - STOPPED
The family gets out of the car and starts to grab what they can.
EXT. SOUTH PARK AVENUE - DAY
SHOT 1 - A little bit high angle looking down South Park avenue with townspeople rushing in all directions.
The first townsperson looks to camera and suddenly panics as he drops his groceries.
TOWNSPERSON
(Pointing toward camera)
OH JESUS! HERE IT COOOMMESSSS!!!
TOWNSPERSON 2
GLOBAL WARMING!!!
The townspeople all turn and run away from camera--
SHOT 2 - Perspective looking down South Park Avenue. A mob of townspeople all run toward camera, screaming.
TOWNSPEOPLE
(SCREAMING)
TOWNSPERSON
IT'S COMING! HERE COMES GLOBAL WARMING!
Some townspeople point behind them, others look over their shoulders, but all push and shove each other out of the way, and split camera rushing out on both sides of the frame until nothing is left.
We HOLD on the frame as the thrilling MUSIC continues to pound. Nothing happens.
SHOT 3 - A side shot of the town. Again people all run from global warming - running from frame right to left.
TOWNSPEOPLE
(Screaming)
TOWNSPERSON 2
WE DIDN'T LISTEN!!!!
When they clear frame, we again hold on absolutely nothing happening while the thrilling music continues.
SHOT 4 - HIGH ANGLE, looking down on the street (like it's 'Global Warming's POV) as townspeople run toward the top of frame, at times looking back and up to point and scream. One guy trips and falls in the chaos. PUSH IN on him as if from the POV of the 'giant foot of global warming'.
FALLEN GUY
AAAGHGHGHGHGGHGHGH!!!!!
The shot goes black.
SHOT 5 - A different angle of the same guy, now more of a Wide side shot as he lays on the street writhing in pain as nothing happens all around him.
FALLEN GUY
Blarghh... Blarrhgghghgh....
EXT. ROAD OUTSIDE OF SOUTH PARK - DAY
Stan's family is hurrying down the side of the road where tons of empty cars are parked. (Randy is pushing Grandpa)
STAN'S DAD
COME ON HURRY!!!
SCREAMING is heard and then a huge crowd a people runs from the town, past the family.
TOWNSPERSON
IT'S RIGHT BEHIND US!!!!
TOWNSPEOPLE
(SCREAMING)
They pass through frame leaving only the Marshes again, who hurry up after them. But then after a few seconds we hear the SCREAMING again and then the same crowd passes through frame the other direction, going back the way they came.
TOWNSPERSON
IT'S COMING THE OTHER WAY!!!
TOWNSPEOPLE
(SCREAMING)
STAN'S DAD
GO BACK!! GO BACK!!!
The Marshes all turn around and run the way they came from.
EXT. COMMUNITY CENTER - DAY
Tons of Townspeople are running with their things into the Community Center doors which Butter's dad is holding open.
BUTTERS' DAD
Everyone into the community center! HURRY!!! GO!!!
Stan's family rushes in through the doors as well.
STAN'S DAD
GET INSIDE WE HAVE TO CLOSE THESE DOORS!
SUPER FAST TRACK IN from very Wide of the community center to the door-
STAN'S DAD
AAGHGHGGH!!
Stan's dad gets inside and SLAMS the door just as the camera gets there.
