It enters the niche compact hot-hatch arena with a mix of high performance, new technology, and sleek styling. Mazda aims to challenge established rivals like the Honda Civic Type R, Hyundai Elantra GT N-line, and Volkswagen GTI. It features a refined exterior, a luxurious interior, and a 2.5-liter turbocharged 4-cylinder delivering 250 horsepower. Starting MSRP comes out to $36,650 while our fully optioned one is $38,410.
