GOOD leaders are the ones who ultimately give a shit about you and your success. They're the ones who are always present and there to support, guide and mentor you to get you to where you want to be. They're the ones who are FIRM but FAIR and give you opportunities and room for growth.

The BAD ones are the ones who truly don't care. They're the ones who are all about themselves and don't look out for their subordinates wellbeing and if they mess up, they're the first ones to throw them under the bus and go straight to paperwork (NJP, 6105, Pg11) instead of turning the situation into a teachable moment and giving that person a second chance (obviously situation dependent)

point—Be the leader you would want leading YOU and set a positive example for your Marines 🔥
