Full of shiny skyscrapers and plenty to see and do, Jakarta, Indonesia is a city that should be on anyone's Southeast Asia itinerary. From the Central Business District, to the City Centre, to Old Town, Jakarta holds so much that visitors are looking for in a destination.

Wait too long though and your chance to experience this place could evaporate. Jakarta is considered by many to be the most threatened city on Earth. Rising sea levels, combined with the fact that some parts of the urban area are sinking, means drastic measures will be needed soon. Already, the government is taking steps to move the capital to another island, entirely.
