Security forces are engaged in a fierce encounter with terrorists in the dense forests of Doda, Jammu and Kashmir. One terrorist has been killed, and an M4 rifle along with three bags have been recovered. Unfortunately, an army officer was martyred, and a civilian was injured during the clash. The encounter, which began yesterday in the Akar area near Patnitop, is part of the ongoing Operation Assar. Sources suggest that three to four terrorists are still hiding in the area, and the operation continues.
