A board meeting will then be held to select a candidate. Meanwhile, BJP's central observers Vijay Rupani and Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman will arrive at the Vidhan Bhavan in the morning. A total of 132 MLAs of the BJP and its allies, including Independents, are expected to attend the ceremony. The senior leaders of the BJP will then make a proposal on who should be the group leader. The central observer will then announce the name of the BJP group leader after a majority vote. After the election of the leader of the group, the next move of the BJP-JJP alliance government will be accelerated.
