Here are 10 biblical reasons that Christians should support Israel.

Number one: God is not done with Israel. In Romans 11, Paul explains that God has not rejected His people, and verses 28 and 29 say that Israel is loved on account of the Patriarchs and that God's gift and calling are irrevocable.

Number two: In the future, all Israel will be saved. Zechariah 12:10 explains what will happen after the tribulation when Jesus returns. It says, "I will pour out on the House of David and the inhabitants of Jerusalem a spirit of grace and supplication. They will look on me, the one they have pierced, and they will mourn for him as one mourns for an only child and grieve bitterly for him as one grieves for their firstborn son." Romans 11:26 continues, "And in this way, all Israel will be saved as it is written: 'The deliverer will come from Zion, he will turn godlessness away from Jacob, and this is my covenant with them when I take away their sins."

Number three: God blesses those who support Israel. Genesis 12:3 says, "I will bless those who bless you, and whoever curses you, I will curse, and all peoples on Earth will be blessed through you."

Number four: Touching Israel is like touching the apple of God's eye, and I don't want to be the one to poke my finger in God's eye.

Number five: God says that we should pray for the peace of Jerusalem. Psalm 122:6 says, "Pray for the peace of Jerusalem; may those who love you be secure."

Number six: God specifically warned Gentile Christians against having an arrogant attitude toward Israel. Romans 11:25 says, "I do not want you to be ignorant of this mystery, brothers and sisters, so that you may not be conceited. Israel has experienced a hardening in part until the full number of Gentiles has come in."

Number seven: God has given a specific lot of land to Israel. Genesis 13:15 says, "All the land that you see, I will give to you and your offspring forever."

Number eight: People who divide the land of Israel and scatter the people of Israel will come under the judgment of God. Joel 3:2 says, "I will gather all nations and bring them down to the valley of Jehoshaphat. There, I will put them on trial for what they did to my inheritance, my people Israel, because they scattered my people among the nations and divided up my land."

Number nine: God will bring vindication to Israel. Isaiah 62:1 says, "For Zion's sake, I will not keep silent, for Jerusalem's sake, I will not remain quiet until her vindication shines out like the dawn, her salvation like a blazing torch."

Number ten: Satan is Israel's accuser, and we do not want to partner with Satan in accusing Israel. In Revelation 12, we see that the woman is Israel, and Satan is after her from the beginning. Satan will be against Israel all the way up to his defeat at the end of the Great Tribulation. Revelation 12 says, "Then the dragon was enraged at the woman and went off to wage war against the rest of her offspring, those who keep God's commands and hold fast to their testimony about Jesus."

So, in conclusion, we should support Israel. Listen to Romans 15:27. It says, "For if the Gentiles have shared in the Jews' blessings, they owe it to the Jews to share with them their material blessings. But ask God how you can support Israel, whether through prayers, resources, or by using your voice to stand with them. God loves Israel, and so should you. God bless you, guys.
