Feroze Gujral, the Founder and Director of the Gujral Foundation speaks with Foundation Art Divvy’s Creative Director Zahra Khan.

Feroze speaks about her vision for The Gujral Foundation, the new projects she is working on and the various ventures she is leading and supporting!⁣

This is the sixteenth in a series of interviews with artists, art collectors, art educators, academics, art historians and curators of the Pakistani and South Asian Art worlds, by Foundation Art Divvy's Creative Director Zahra Khan.

Feroze Gujral is a philanthropist, art aficionado, patron, businesswoman, columnist and media Personality. She is the Founder and Director of The Gujral Foundation, a non-profit trust set up in 2008, along with her husband Mohit Gujral (the son of the renowned Indian modern artist Satish Gujral). She is also the Founder Director of Outset India, the Indian chapter of Outset Contemporary Art Fund, which is the largest acquisition art fund in the world, present in 9 countries, established in 2011.⁣

Feroze Gujral is regarded as one of India’s leading art patrons. She is currently on the Trustee Board of Kochi Muziris Biennale of which she is a Founding Patron. She was previously on the international board of the Guggenheim Museum in New York, the Serpentine Gallery in London, and the advisory board of IGNCA, New Delhi.⁣

The Gujral Foundation has been steadfast in their dedication to support Indian art, design and culture both locally and globally, and It has been recognized as one of India’s leading art foundations. Key projects include My East is Your West - a collateral event at the 56th Venice Biennale, curated by Feroze, produced and presented by the Foundation, as well as commissioned projects for the 11th Shanghai Biennale and the 8th Berlin Biennale and Kochi-Muziris Biennale amongst others. They have also supported numerous projects by other organizations including ‘V. S. Gaitonde at The Solomon R.
