**Please read first:

Brooke and Dean had a serious relationship in the past and are no longer together. When having dinner alone, Brooke listens to an old voicemail Dean left her a month ago, the anniversary of the day they broke up. She begins to think about him and the times they had together.

Meanwhile, Dean wakes up from dreaming about Brooke only to find her on TV with a random guy. He stares at the empty spot on his bed, realizing exactly what he'd lost when he left her a year ago.

Dean calls Brooke and is too shocked when she picks up the call. He hangs up the phone abruptly, not knowing what to say. Brooke disconnects the call, knowing it was Dean. He then makes the decision to drive back to Tree Hill and fix things.

As he's on the road, and she's all alone, they both think of the last fight they had, prompting the breakup.

Dean finally arrives unexpectedly at Brooke's doorstep. Reluctantly, she agrees to drive around with him, and the two fight about the past.

She tells him she wanted him to fight for her, he tells her he tried...but he saw her with another guy and knew it was over.

Brooke can't believe what she's hearing and tells him she didn't know the guy that was hitting on her. They both laugh at their own stubborness.

Finally, Dean asks her if she wants to be together again. The rest is pretty much self-explanatory.
