Triple Talaq, a muslim divorce parctice came to an end on 30th July.
The Government curtailed the Triple Talaq format of divorce of Muslims by introducing a Bill for Protecting the Rights and Freedom of Mulsim Women. The Muslim Women (Protection of Rights of Women on marriage) Act, 2019 was introduced by the Union Law Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad. This bill was passed by majority in Lok Sabha as well as Rajya Sabha.
This video contains information about the Shah Bano case, which was a milestone in this issue. We will discuss the Case of Shah Bano from legal as well as educational perspective in this video.
