I am a full-time content creator on my other channel - ‪@EdCodes‬. As I transition into a digital nomad lifestyle, I'm looking for compact gear that would allow me to quickly set up a home Youtube studio in any Airbnb or Hotel.

Here’s why the Ulanzi MT-79 caught my eye:

Pros:

Ultra compact travel tripod.
Very cheap - 10x cheaper than travel tripods such as Peak Design.
Very long at 2 metres - why are most classic tripods so short?
Can be used as a selfie stick.
Perfect for home studio use - can fit in small spaces behind a table.
Bonus self defence use?

Cons:

Flat surface only because of its design
Solutions for uneven surfaces:
Tilting is fine with the phone holder
Can buy a ball head
Totally fine with a gimbal like the DJI Osmo Pocket 3.
