Kaylen, Kelsey and Kristen are excited to release Rock-A-Bye Bye which is the result of fifteen plus years of writing and performing their songs. This, plus a growing appreciation and support of music lovers around the world that speak cool languages and have cultures and customs quite different than those of Texas. They have come knocking by the millions on the girls' social media doors to "move with the K3 Sisters groove!" as this song lyric suggests. And that is very exciting!

The girls' continuous study of multiple languages has creatively taken them all over the globe with their short, charming and popular "name songs" during which they sing in diverse tongues to the delight of those who speak them fluently.

This feature length original song and music video effort, however, takes their love, honor and admiration of other cultures and languages a step further due to a special Japanese performing artist with whom the girls have developed a bond thanks to the sharing of each others' talents on social media. His name is Yoshiaki Okawa, aka Kotomen. He is a truly dashing touring performer whose specialty is the revered Japanese Koto. Follow Yoshiaki on Instagram @ookawayoshiaki or on YouTube @kotomen.

The Koto is an ancient traditional instrument which was a favored form of entertainment in the Japanese imperial courts. Its strings were originally made of silk, and tuning to this day is achieved by adjusting the base on which the strings are stretched. It is played using both hands, however, with finger picks on one hand to produce the vibrations and tones. The right hand technique is similar in some respects to the American banjo or dobro. But the left hand...wow! Awesome!

As you listen to the lyrics in this unique song of positivity, you will hear both English and Japanese woven into an incredible mixture of ancient and contemporary Japanese musical tones produced by Yoshiaki to create a never before heard musical tapestry that includes the girls' guitars, drums and percussion in addition to their soaring pop-rock styled harmony vocals. The dual lyrics shown in both languages is a great way for everyone to enjoy the full impact of the song.

Beyond the lyrics, however, is the visual interplay of the video which on the surface is an obvious juxtaposition of the some of the earliest public performances of Kaylen, Kelsey and Kristen with many of their contemporary "grown up" performances. Although this "coming of age motif" is inescapable, upon closer examination of the lyrics against the backdrop of the visuals, heart warming interpretive doors fly open in the minds' eye of each listener with respect to their own struggles, hopes and "strong dreams" with which they are intimately involved. For instance:

Through music we can all find where we belong.
The magic’s been here all along.
Move with the groove - just keep on listening to this song.
They may think that I am crazy crazy,
But I won’t let what they say faze me faze me.
