Compression Test

Описание к видео Compression Test

A compression test is testing the helical pile under a static load in increments of 5% of the ultimate test load. We load the main beam with a load cell and hydraulic ram by pushing up. The reaction piles take the tension force from the beam reaction and help to compress the test pile into the ground. We’re looking for what load causes the pile to deflect 10% of the helix diameter (i.e. 10” helix = 1.0” deflection).
