In this video, Professor John Ahr of the Online Jewelry Academy demonstrates how to make a simple forged bracelet. This project is perfect for beginners and requires a minimum number of tools.

To make this project you will need at least six inches of copper grounding wire, a file, a cross-peen hammer a bench block or anvil and a bracelet mandrel. The copper should be well annealed before you begin forging. The filed ends of the copper wire can be sanded smooth. Once you complete the bracelet you can tumble it to bring up a polished finish.
