Hartford Line (Amtrak): Meriden to Wallingford

Описание к видео Hartford Line (Amtrak): Meriden to Wallingford

A portion of southbound rides I took on Amtrak trains running on the Hartford Line, which runs from New Haven, Connecticut, to Springfield, Massachusetts. Amtrak's service operates in conjunction with (and predates) CT Rail's Hartford Line commuter service. Here, the trains are traveling the 5.7 miles between the stations of Meriden and Wallingford. I say "trains" because this video was recorded in two parts. My battery died when originally trying to record the ride between the stations, so rather than delete what I had been able to record, I decided to record the rest of the ride another time and edit the two parts together, which I was able to do a week later (and a few hours later in the day). The change to the second part happens while passing a warehouse of Infra-Metals in Wallingford, about 5:43 in the video, the conductor's conversation with a passenger suddenly ending and the natural light becoming less.

Recorded in July 2024.
