Left For Dead! 1957 Gibson J-50 Found in the TRASH. Restored! Vintage J-45

From Insult to injury, and from injury to Salvation, this 1957 Gibson J-50 almost ended up in a landfill until Charles Austin found it in the garbage. He sent it across Canada to my workshop and I whipped up a new back, new frets and various other repairs to redeem this excellent guitar!
This was an excellent era of Gibson, with devil-may-care levels of bracing. It makes for a loud and bold sound with rich, deep basses but an overall balance that is sweet as nectar.
