Описание к видео EP 25 The Undertones - Teenage Kicks - Bass Cover (Includes onscreen and downloadable tabs)

"Teenage Kicks" is the debut single by Northern Irish punk rock band The Undertones. Written in the summer of 1977 by the band's principal songwriter, John O'Neill, the song was recorded on 15 June 1978 and initially released that September on independent Belfast record label Good Vibrations, before the band signed to Sire Records on 2 October 1977. The bass part was played by Michael Bradley.

The song is also famous for being John Peel's favourite song of all time. The words are engraved upon his tombstone.

In addition to the onscreen tab, PDF and Guitar Pro format copies are available here:

The bass part was recorded in Reason using my Johnson Precision Bass clone (customed with a Fender HiMass bridge and an EMG P pickup), into an ART DI box, then into a Steinberg UR44C interface. The audio was processed with the SSL Master Compressor Rack Extension into the Brainwork SVTVR Classic amp sim plugin.

The video was filmed using a Samsung A41 smartphone. The tab was created using Go PlayAlong 4 and captured using NCH Debut. This was then composited and edited using DaVinci Resolve 16.
