Peak District Walks: Thorpe Cloud

Distance: 3.79km (2.35 Miles)
Ascent: 151m (495ft)
Duration: 1 Hour 36 Minutes

Although only a short walk, the hike up to Thorpe Cloud is steep and very rewarding with views over the entire southern end of Dove Dale. At 287m above sea level its only a low level peak but due to its prominence and steep slopes it has been included in the list of Ethels (a comprehensive list of summits in the Peak District).
