6 Shocking Things About the US: What Surprised Me as a European

As a European visiting the United States, I encountered some unexpected surprises that really shocked me. From the high cost of living to the ubiquity of athleisure wear, there were so many aspects of American life that stood out. In this video, I’ll be sharing my honest thoughts on:

1) The shocking cost of living - Why is everything so expensive, from groceries to rentals?
2) Athleisure everywhere - Does anyone in the US wear normal clothes?
3) Drugs and poverty - The visible contrast between extreme wealth and poverty, along with drug issues.
4) Racism and segregation - Why are these issues still so prevalent in America?
5-6) Food portions and wastefulness - The enormous portion sizes and the culture of waste in the US.
