I just released the steam page and trailer for my indie game, CultGame. I used a combination of making a unique short horror film as a trailer, making a press release via email, and using organic social media marketing to spread the word about the steam page and trailer. I have compiled all of the data from my efforts into this devlog to show you what it's like to do low budget, organic indie game marketing in our current day. I found it a really productive, reflective experience to get this together, and I hope you find it interesting and educational for your own efforts in marketing video games.
