Shieldon delivers a great genuine leather iPhone 15 Pro Max wallet folio case at a reasonable price.

The case feels great in the hand and the build quality looks solid. This model features a magnetic detachable phone holder that can be attached to the folio when desired. This holder is all hard plastic which falls short of the leather offerings we’ve seen from other manufacturers.

The folio closes via hidden magnetics inside the design however they’re rendered inoperable once anything is placed inside the wallet which defeats the purpose. I would have preferred to see some sort of strap closure as we’ve seen before.

Many cases like this allow you to prop up the phone for watching videos. This one almost does it but it’s not a great experience.

Overall this case looks and feels great but there is some opportunity for improvements. If you just like the look and feel of a folio case and don’t intend to actually put anything inside then this case is fantastic. The strapless front looks sophisticated and sleek. However, if you want to actually use the wallet functionality there are some tradeoff’s to consider.
