I'm faced with a constant battle so get on with it
But it's so fucking hard when I remind myself
I'm an empty shell for the price I've paid
Now there's no escape - There's no return
God Damn I've been reborn into this
I swear to Christ but he only tells me that my past is my prison
and my sentence is now!

My rage is sudden & it comes without regret or a fucking reason
This struggle is mine - It is a war that can only be won alone
This struggle is mine - A battle my ignorance created

This is not the only way & I refuse to believe
Is this a punishment or a product of my mistakes?
I don't want to wear this cross for in it's flames are the very throes of my fate

Nothing is real - Nothing is put to rest
