Case Background: The Long Island serial killer (LISK) is suspected of murdering between 10 and 16 people over 20 years, with the remains of their victims found between 2010 and 2011 after the search for Shannan Gilbert began. A suspect, Rex Heuermann, was arrested in July 2023 and has been charged with the "Gilgo Four" murders.
