A day of Winter Farm Chores + Feeding Animals

Doing some farm chores, giving the ducks their minerals, cleaning the chicken coop, getting compost material, playing with mini goats, and feeding the sheep, chickens, goats, and ducks. I got some culled carrots that didn't make it to market so I thought I would give them to the animals. We also fed some apples and bananas as treats. The animals seemed to like the fruit more. I agree lol. But the carrots were good too. They were harvested after the first frost so they were sweet. I learned that the mini goats are more picky than expected but for an interesting reason. Apparently, they will test something they haven't tried before by eating a little bit first and seeing if they get an upset tummy. If they don't, they will eat more the next day. It makes sense since they usually foraged for food in the summer. Hope you enjoyed it!
