In this intense episode, Ricks opens up about his long wait running the radio station, hoping for help to escape the eerie town. He reveals a boat docked at the marina they can use, but there's a catch – the boat’s keys were stolen by an intruder. When Murphy suggests hot-wiring it, Ricks warns that the town has strict "rules" that can't be broken.

Before they can escape, Anne returns, hell-bent on arresting Murphy. But as a consequence for Ricks breaking the rules, a horde of Screamers ambushes the studio and kidnaps both him and Anne. Murphy is left all alone as the building transforms into a nightmarish prison-like Otherworld.

Desperate to escape, Murphy runs into the Wheelman once again, only to end up falling off the clock tower. When he regains consciousness, he finds himself back in the foggy world, where he meets Howard once more. This time, Howard gives Murphy a letter summoning him to St. Maria's Monastery. Murphy is hesitant and frustrated, refusing the letter, but Howard hints that he knows more about the town than he's letting on. With no other option, Murphy reluctantly accepts the letter and continues his journey into the unknown.
