I'm introducing a queen to a colony which previously swarmed. I'm trying to show how bees react when they are most likely to accept a new queen. If accepted, the bees will feed and lick the queen to groom her. Otherwise, if the bees feel the queen is poor, they will bite and hold tight to the cage. The colony will baInside the hive are at least two capped queen cells along with a decent population of bees and frames containing brood in all stages.
