Are you the "go to" person among your friends and family when their computer gives them a hard time? Are you the one they call when their printer isn't working? Do you enjoy using technology and learning how it works? If so, the Computer Information Systems program may be for you! Students in the CIS program at PSLA at Fowler will learn about information processing, networks, hardware, software applications, and web publishing through hands-on activities. They will learn the basic skills necessary to pursue careers in networking, information technology support, programming, and web technology. Students will also have the opportunity to earn a no cost college degree while still in high school. Some career paths may include a programmer, junior systems analyst, web site managers and designers, operations trainees, or tech support specialist to name a few!
