The HITFACT MkII turret, produced by Leonardo, is a modular and lightweight turret that can be fitted with either a rifled 105/52 mm gun or a smoothbore 120/45 mm soft recoil gun. It can be operated by a crew of 2 or 3, with an optional automatic ammunition loader for 120 mm rounds. The turret's armor provides superior protection, and its architecture is fully digitized to meet modern C4ISTAR requirements. The secondary armament includes a 7.62 mm coaxial machine gun or a 12.7 mm machine gun, which can be either pintle-mounted or remotely operated via the HITROLE RWS.
