Описание к видео Origami Fighter Jet F-14 Tomcat tutorial, English version (Part 1)

Hi, I am Hiroshi, lieutenant K. Retired Japanese Army 1st lieutenant.
This is an F-14 fighter plane made by simply folding a sheet of paper without cutting it at all.
The first time I made this was 33 years ago, when I was an Army cadet at the National Defense Academy of Japan.
I made only one, but I have recently replicated it and made some improvements. I think I've described most of the features of the F-14, including the variable-sweep-wing. The exhaust ports of the jet engines are made three-dimensional this time.
The planes in the thumbnail are made with special papers that were drawn and printed out using CAD on my personal computer.
It can fly, although its flight performance is not great. With the wings minimally swept, it flies slowly, and with the wings fully swept, it flies at high speed.
I've standardized it so that whoever makes it will have the same proportions, but the way it's made is extremely complex. I tried to explain it as carefully as possible, and as a result, this video is extremely long.
Nonetheless, you may not be able to complete this work, but I hope that you will grab the overview. I hope that this video will help you to create your own original works.
At the end, I will staple the main body of this plane. It is advisable to use a stapler that can bind about 30 sheets of paper, as the paper overlaps and becomes very thick. If possible, the staple should be made of stainless steel that will not rust.
This movie is continued in Part 2.
