I couldn’t use an FPS meter in this test because iPhone requires Xcode, which needs a Mac. I don’t own a Mac right now. Any real frame drops or hardware lag I noticed are clearly mentioned in the final report section of the video.

In this video, I push the iPhone 17 Pro (US eSIM variant) to its absolute limits with a back to back gaming + battery drain test from 100% to 0% to see if it’s truly a gaming beast or just powerful on paper.

The iPhone 17 Pro is powered by Apple’s latest A19 Pro chip, featuring a 6-core CPU, 6-core GPU, 16-core Neural Engine, and hardware accelerated ray tracing. Apple claims massive gains in performance and efficiency so this video tests how those claims hold up in real world gaming.

I tested five heavy games, played continuously at the highest settings possible:
• Zenless Zone Zero
• BGMI
• Call of Duty Mobile
• Wuthering Waves
• Resident Evil Village (AAA Game)

Along with performance, I also tracked battery drain and thermals, using a temperature gun, and shared a detailed end report showing:
• Battery drop per game
• Thermal behavior
• Any stutters or performance dips observed

This video gives you a clear idea of whether the iPhone 17 Pro is worth it for serious mobile gaming.
