Key Deadlines:

Beta Merchant API users: February 28, 2026
Content API users: August 18, 2026

Important Note: The migration will change your feed labels from simple names (like "US") to currency-based labels with random numbers (e.g., "GBP_12345"). This means you'll need to update your Google Ads campaign settings to reconnect your products.

Quick Check:
Go to Google Merchant Center → Settings → Data Sources → Check your "Source" field. If it says "Content API," you need to migrate!

For Shopify users with the Google & YouTube app, you may just need to reinstall the app to automatically migrate to the new Merchant API.
