 After celebrating PCT trail days in Cascade locks Oregon, the lowest point on the PCT, we traveled back to California to enter the Sierras. Our goal was to cross Forester pass, the highest point on the PCT at 13,200 feet. In order to acclimate to the higher elevation we spent the first night at horseshoe Meadows campground at 10,000 feet. Over the next six days we moved higher and higher in elevation. Starting with chicken spring lake at 11,260 feet.
