This Mark Knopfler song Marbletown is one that has always caught my ear. Not sure what it's about, and by the looks of others' interpretations, there's not a lot of consensus on those either. One commenter I found said that Mr. Knopfler introduced the song at a concert by saying that this had something to do with being in the music business over the years.

I especially wanted to learn that very cool guitar lick. I'm no Knopfler, but I enjoyed the attempt!
