if you get This error in Battlefield 1 or 2042 and the error says "This software cannot be used at the same time as the game. Please make sure it's not running, or restart your PC.: Interception

You need to uninstall the Interception driver from your system. Here's how to do it step-by-step:

Download the removal tool:

Download the file called interception.zip.


Extract (unzip) the file:
Right-click the interception.zip file and choose Extract All.
It should create a folder called Interception in your Downloads folder.

Open Command Prompt as Administrator:
Press Start, type cmd, then right-click and choose Run as Administrator.

Go to the correct folder in Command Prompt:
Paste this line and press Enter:

cd "%USERPROFILE%\Downloads\Interception\command line installer"

Now Uninstall the driver:
Paste this line and press Enter:
install-interception.exe /uninstall

Restart your computer.

⚠️ Notes:
This works for Windows 10/11 only.
If you renamed the folder or extracted it somewhere else, you’ll need to update the folder path in step 4.
