Hi, everyone, Olive and I just arrived here in San Diego for the weekend. We are excited to check out some of the dog-friendly things that you can do around the city, from the beaches to restaurants to parks. We just checked in here to the Hotel Republic. It is downtown, really centrally located. It's just a few short blocks to the water, and so, once Olive wakes up from her little afternoon snooze here, we are gonna get out there and get exploring. Here in San Diego, I wanted to find a coffee shop that was extremely dog-friendly and also that would allow us to spend some time to just sit, relax, and we found James Coffee Co. This coffee shop has three locations within the city. Their location here in Little Italy is really unique because it has little boutique shops within the coffee shop. So, if you're a guy, wanna come get a shave and a coffee, you can do that. There is a cute, little card shop that has gifts, little kitchenware, and there is just, there is plants. There is really good coffee. You can get beans to go. You can get something for here. I love that. It kind of forces me to sit down, take some time because I have to return the cup, and so we're just sitting outside. The sun just came out. Olive's here staring at another dog in the distance, but we're having a good time. We're gonna drink our coffee, and then we're gonna head over to Balboa Park, get a little stroll in. We've heard a lot of great things about it, so we will catch up with you there. We're here at Balboa Park. Chances are if you have heard anything about San Diego, you have heard about this park. They have amazing museums. It is a massive park right in the middle of the city, and fun fact, it's actually larger than Central Park in New York. While the museums and buildings may not be dog-friendly, this is an excellent place to come, walk your dog. You could spend hours here. There is so much to see. We are going to just kind of see where Olive takes me on the trails here. Spend a little time sightseeing, and after that we're gonna head down to the water to grab a bite to eat at Sally's. So, we will catch up with you there. So, Olive and I are stopped here at Sally's Fish House. We're gonna have a little lunch date, so I think it's pretty clear here from our spread that this lunch is not for me. Olive has a ton of options. We have the Surf & T-Arf, the Sit, Stay Roll. We've got Doggie Sliders and Howl & Oats, so basically I don't know, appetizers, lunch, main course, and a little dessert. So, I, you know, have some fish tacos for myself. Me and Olive are gonna dig in, enjoy our time here outside, and then we are gonna head to the water afterwards. So, we'll see you there. So, it turns out that dog paradise does exist, and we have arrived here at the Dog Beach. This beach is incredible. There are dogs having the time of their lives, and this, actually fun fact, is one of the first, official, off-leash dog beaches in the United States. So, it's historic. It's cool. Dogs are loving it. I'm personally very excited to let Olive off and have the time of her life. Clearly, there are people who come here every day. They are set up. They've got their lawn chairs. Their dogs are really enjoying it, so enough talking. We are gonna get out there. We're gonna let Olive burn off some energy, make some friends, and just have a good time before we head over to the brewery for some happy hour. So, we will catch up with you over there. We're here at Kairoa Brewing Co. This is our last stop on our trip here in San Diego. This brewery is just about 15 minutes outside of the city, and there are a lot of breweries here in San Diego. But what's really unique about this is that have an amazing rooftop deck. There is big chairs, fire pits, and an amazing view of the sunset, which is what we plan on doing this evening. We got a little somethin' for Olive off of the menu. We got a beer here for myself, and we're just gonna kind of take in the evening.
