Forehand Lesson: Inside In vs Inside Out Forehands

The ATP and WTA players dominate tennis matches by controlling the court with their forehand.

Watch a match and see how often they will run around the backhand just to hit a forehand.

Why do they do this when it would be so much easier just to hit a backhand.

Two reasons:

1. They get a lot more power off the forehand wing.

2. Running around helps them see more angles and open up the court

When a professional tennis player runs around the backhand it gives them two options to hit a winner.

The inside out forehand and the inside in forehand.

In today's tennis lesson I will explain the difference between the two forehands and demonstrate the proper time to hit each shot
