Agility (AGI) | Footspeed in release package, at the top of routes, and as a ball carrier.
Short Routes (SR) | Ability to Separate on Short Routes: Slants, Curls, Whips, Short Ins, Short Outs, Etc. (Routes 0-2)
Intermediate Routes (IR) | Ability to Separate on Intermediate Routes: In's, Out's, Crossers, Hitches, Etc. (Routes 3, 4, & 6)
Long Routes (DR) | Ability to Separate on Longer Developing Routes: Posts, Go's, Corners, Comebacks, Deep Ins/Outs, Double Moves, Etc. (Routes 5,7, 8, 9)
Release (REL) | Ability to Beat Press Coverage

Vertical | Traditional deep threat specialist on the outside, receiver who specializes in routes 4-9. Emphasizes Speed, Release, Long Routes, Catch in Traffic and Height
Slot | Receivers capable of being quickly available for the Quarterback by either separating quickly or being a size/speed mismatch problem for linebackers and defensive backs who can win contested catches. Can be schemed out of handling press coverage. Emphasizes Acceleration, Catch In Traffic, Hands, Agility, Run Block, and RAC. Routes 0-4
Physical* | Big bodied wide receivers who can play anywhere on the field, even close to the line as a tight end of sorts. Make for excellent threats in the Red Zone Emphasizes Run Block, Hands, Catch In Traffic, Jumping, and RAC. Routes 0-6
