Garrett ATX in Australia: Setup and Controls

This is a brief run through on the new Garrett ATX Extreme Pulse Induction metal detector. In this video we look at unpacking and deployment, coil changing, battery changing and general operation of the controls. The ATX was extensively tested in Australia in the world's most challenging conditions for a metal detector -- from the volcanic soils of North Queensland to the ironstones of the Western Australian goldfields. In these conditions the ATX performed smoothly and found small gold in areas that had previously been 'flogged out' by other PI detectors.
